Major FPS Drops, Help?!

I have found my self recently in game with Major FPS drops, when running in Cities, it doesn't just lag it drops the fps to the point where it stops and freezes the screen for a couple of seconds and then i can play again, but it only then goes and does it again in like 5 - 10 seconds after it done it before.. How can i fix this? how can i stop this from happening.. this is my setup and my DayZ Config file, i don't know if anything in the files will change that from happening?

just check whats happening with tents ATM if this maybe something to do with it ?

I dont think this is a problem with me, im on a server, with hardly any one on, and as soon as i get into a city my fps drops to the point where it freezes and i cant move for a couple of seconds, and i cant play because of this..

try setting your scene complexity lower

- this is my first idea looking at your config.

 

Me, I'd try some experiments out in the country, put scene compexity lower, put view distance lower -  see if you can get something that looks ok but you can still play...then also do tryouts with the other parameters

Check these forums for Config and DayZ Settings, you'll find plenty of advice and suggestions
