bad vehicle type

i havnt played in a while but now there is a message that prevents me from connecting to a server saying "Bad Vehicle Type.  Attachment_Compensator_Mosin" im guessing the attachment on my mosin has been updated. is there a way to reset my character or fix this issue

Hmm. It's not supposed to happen, since we had global wipes to prevent old files from getting corrupted that way. I'd suggest checking your files integrity on steam.

im not to sure on how to do that. if i reset my character would that fix the problem?

i found where to check the files integrity and it was missing one of the update files so i resolved the issue and all is good now thanks
