What settings should I be turning off for low end performance.

I've managed to eliminate the terrible blur that was constant so it looks more crips.

 

Although with shadows & clouds off, and terrain and objects on low or medium, i still get big fps drops in built up areas with occasional fps lag.

 

I suspect i can maybe make things run smoother by turning off some of the more advanced visual settings, but i've no idea what half of the stuff means or does.
