DayZ c:\User\LACHLAN\Documents\DayZ\DayzZ.cfg.3D_Performance'.

When i start dayz this comes up c:\User\LACHLAN\Documents\DayZ\DayzZ.cfg.3D_Performance'. and when i click okay 5mins later dayz comes up but there are no server please help!

i had the same problem and changed my cfg file to :

The one that made the game playable was changing this to:

 

adapter=-1;

3D_Performance=100000;

[SmashT 10907]

You can also delete the DayZ.cfg file and a new one will be created next time you launch the game.
