Need help (Frames issue) Can't seem to find any solutions

Recommended Posts

Hey guys I just created this account to get help, this problem is seriously starting to annoy me, I was playing with my friend last night and everything was fine, then in a matter of 3 seconds my frames drop drastically to like 2 frames a second. I have no idea what did it, it was only me and him then when I checked the player list again the other person was in the server also. I don't know if they person was hacking or something I didn't assume so. Anyway I decided to give it a break and watched a movie, when I come back and try to launch it , it runs insanely slow even from the main start screen. I've already looked at many Fps boost posts and none of it is helping. I also checked to see if my graphics card was overheating it wasn't. Then I decided to run Arma 2 : Operation Arrowhead to see if every game was running slow. When I launched Arma 2 : Operation Arrowhead demo it ran amazingly as always. So its only Dayz that is running slow, no other games have issues. I don't know if I was hacked somehow or if it has something to do with my pc please help me..

Pc Specs: Intel Core- i5-2500k CPU @3.30GHz, 16gb ram, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560

Thank You

If you are interested see this topic: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/226325-memory-leak-back/?hl=%2Bmemory+%2Bleak

I had the same problem a few times but it has been a while now so I have not been able to test the method below.

Should you experience the frame drop again try to do this:

LEFT SHIFT + MINUS SIGN (-) ON THE KEYPAD AND TYPE FLUSH

If that resolves the framedrop please let us know in the above mentioned topic.

Flush still works. Ive had to do it a couple times and it does seem to help.
