Vanilla DayZmod Launcher

R4Z0R49 has asked me to create a server browser for vanilla DayZ mod servers, Working with admins from some of the vanilla server this is what we have so far.

 

Two of the big problems we always see from new and old players

 

1. trying to find a vanilla server to play on.

2. trying to work out the addons folder.

 

Hopefully the launcher should help in both case's.

 

This is a test version you guys can try.

 

Install DayZMod on steam.

1. Download arma2

2. Start arma2

3. Download arma2OA

4. Start arma2OA

5. Download DayZMod 

6. Install launcher

Thanks,  I found the old downloads at 3rd-party sites myself, but I was wondering if the launcher has been abandoned? Maybe there was a conflict with PW6 devs and BI?

I think the vanilla launcher was a better way for new players to quickly get started with vanilla DayZ because it was less bloated and complicated than PW6. PW6 has always been a little sluggish, over-complicated and counter-intuitive.
