Okay... this whole badmin thing is new to me....

I've had it happen where i killed a guy and the almost straight after the server restarted... thought it was just my bad luck, but could have been I killed the admin and him then resetting...

 

What exactly is the point if this? What do they achieve by resetting?

I think it tricks the server into thinking they're still alive or something, so when they log back in they still have all their gear. Either that or it's just a big 'fuck you' to the players who killed them.

Most automated resets happen on the hour IIRC. If your server gets reset at a random time like 3:19, then it's likely a manual restet.
