Issues with sound

Recommended Posts

Having a issue with the sound being very low, with this I can barely hear others as well. Every other game is fine just Dayz. Anyone have a fix? Thanks in advance. It really makes the game obsolete with barely any sound.

Just some basic stuff to go over.

-Open your volume settings (On your desktop, not in game) and open the mixer, then make sure the DayZ volume is at the appropriate level of what you want.

-Check the volume settings in DayZ (Hopefully you've done this already) and make sure everything is set how you want (I recommend VOIP to be maxed out)

-Make sure your speakers/headset isn't at fault (Double check and see that everything is plugged in properly, and test to see if they're just broken by using a pair of earbuds or something else lying around)

I know this is all pretty basic, but it's all I can think of, I know sometimes I mess that first one up.

You know I wish I was wrong with those things, but what did fix the problem was just putting the green cord into the front head phone slot instead of the back. Odd I dont know what makes the difference lol. Either way you made me think to do so. Thank you sir.
