Graphical glitch when trying to play

So i recently purchased dayZ from steam and dowloaded it overnight, when i tried playing it this morning it was very glitchy and when i tried joining a server it would be laggy and this is what everything looked like:

i've tried uninstalling it and redownloading since i thought it might not have installed the textures correctly, but it still appears like that.

 

Any feedback/help would be much appreciated

Drivers are up to date.

specs:

- video card: amd radeon hd 7700 series

-cpu: intel core i5-4570 cpu @ 3.20GHz

-RAM: 8gb

Best check your temperatures and DirectX instal.

Does this only happen with your version of DayZ ?

Yes its only with dayZ, i can play csgo, advanced warfare and black ops 2 perfectly on high settings. ill have a read of them, thanks.
