Looks like you're trying to figure out an Arma II issue, these are the DayZ StandAlone forums. Also, is your version legit paid for and downloaded from steam? What I'm looking at would indicate no.

Yes it is a legit paid, I just bought them today

By the way, the DayZLauncher, it takes forever to download EPOCH why is that? And isn't DayZLauncher also used for arma?

I am also having the same exact issue. Just bought the Arma 2 'Complete' package from steam.

Here's an idea. Ask on the EPOCH Forum. We're not affiliated with them in any way.

 

DayZ Mod is available on Steam, no other programs needed and thus no problems with Launchers breaking your game.
