TheManFunk 0 Posted June 16, 2015 Pretty much the title, Obtained Both IZH-43 Shotgun & Blaze 95 Double Rifle, Loaded the IZH-43, Pressed the "T" button For the IZH-43 then fired it, end result, it only shot off one round. Then proceeded to repeat same steps with the Blaze Rifle which ended with the same results. Not sure if this is the case for other weapons that can be toggled, but concluded that this is currently happening with both the IZH-43 & Blaze. Also made a report ticket for this as well, http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=25468 Made this report on the 11th which has yet to be acknowledged, while other reports for other in-game bugs are currently being made over the past few days from the time this topic was started have been acknowledge, i cannot figure that out, but ok. If anyone is also experiencing this same issue for both of these firearms i listed or other firearms that are able to be toggled and no longer work please upvote this ticket and leave a response to other type of firearms you discovered that are no longer able to be toggled using the "T" button on the ticket link i posted. Thank you.
ColdAtrophy 1850 Posted June 16, 2015 Back in 0.55, people claimed you could do this. I have never gotten it to work. My assumption was that select fire simply hadn't been implemented yet or it had something to do with my control scheme.
TheManFunk 0 Posted June 16, 2015 (edited) Back in 0.55, people claimed you could do this. I have never gotten it to work. My assumption was that select fire simply hadn't been implemented yet or it had something to do with my control scheme.Indeed this is correct! before the release of .57 from .55 and back i myself and many friends i know who also use both of these firearms confirmed that the the toggle and firing of both rounds did indeed work, but since the release of .57 it is now disabled for some reason? bugged? not a clue as to what happened and hopefully it will be resolved/acknowledged. *Edit* Oh to answer the concern about you unable to get it to work, i realized this was the issue so long as the firearm was neither/both loaded and in-hand at the time when the "T" button. was toggled/ It was only when i loaded the firearm and held it in-hand then pushed the "T" button afterwards that i was able to fire off both rounds at once. Hope this helps if and when they resolved this issue. Edited June 16, 2015 by TheManFunk
atempleton 123 Posted June 16, 2015 If it no longer works then that is depressing, because that's the sole reason the Blaze was so awesome at PVP.
Bororm 1156 Posted June 16, 2015 If it no longer works then that is depressing, because that's the sole reason the Blaze was so awesome at PVP. Unless they fixed the spread on it, which they very well may have as I only tested it very early on, then firing two shots was wildly inaccurate.
ZomboWTF 527 Posted June 16, 2015 the double firing mode of the blaze and the IZH never really worked as they really should, the blaze fired the shots very rapidly *in succession* when in relity the two rounds should hit almost the exact same spot, only off by a few centimeters (depending on how big the difference of the two barrels is) same for the izh shotgung, you got the recoil from both shots at the same time, but the second shot fired a little bit later than the first one maybe they removed it on purpose for the time being, being able to shoot two mosin round in quick succession is not to be underestimated in any case
atempleton 123 Posted June 16, 2015 The grouping whenever I used the Blaze was almost always spot on. At 50-100m the shots would land on the same spot, and I used this as a bandit by locking doors, then shooting looters when they go to open them in the back with 2 shots dead on target at once - they always die instantly. atempleton 123 Posted June 16, 2015 20-25fps normally, on my laptop it's even lower.
