capt. beefsteak 95 Posted June 11, 2015 It's been a long time since I posted, .57 feels so much smoother and immersive. I gotta say, the itch is Back and I had a great time playing this evening! Hope you've all had the pleasure as well.

Hope you've all had the pleasure as well. Agreed. Higher FPS and smoother gameplay definitely makes for a more immersive experience. You'll be pleasantly surprised with how many cool features have found their way into the game. Only problem I'm facing is disappearing loot from the hands of my survivor. Welcome back!

Welcome back!I noticed this as well... I did a little trial and error. What I found was this, if you have something in your hand, like me holding a 357 mag and then loot it would allow me to place items in the slot where that pistol would go. This means that when i went to put the pistol up it would drop it on the ground (even if it was bound to my hotbar). With that in mind I checked my pack each time it I decided to keep my trusty revolver close to my heart.

If you preform an action (i.e. eat something) with an item in your hands, you will drop the item you're carrying on the ground (assuming there is no space in your inventory). Upon completion of the action, you should automatically pick up the item you dropped. However sometimes, while vaulting for instance, the item in your hands (I've noticed this most often with firearms) will bug out, and prevent you from putting it away. The main way I've tried to "fix" this is to hit the G key to throw it on the ground, but it will often either disappear or not allow you to pick it up. Relogging often fixes any problems with items in your hands, but you will also often lose your firearm. I've lost an AK74 (mag, silencer), a couple fully decked MP5's, and a couple other lower calibur rifles. Really can't wait for them to fix this.

Just me and a buddy, grabbed a few things then we were off to find a VS3.. got the truck set up a small camp with a nice big fire and called it good. Took a few hours but well worth my time after a stressful day in the workforce.
Grimey Rick 3417 Posted June 12, 2015 I'm personally back into Diablo 3. It's amazing on the PS4! But yeah, welcome back to DayZ. I don't play very much anymore, but I still enjoy the time I spend killing everyone on si-... er, "interacting" with people. ;)

Funkmaster Rick 373 Posted June 14, 2015 Definitely a very playable patch. Saline+IV down to one slot is lovely. No-matches fire-starting is excellent. MP5s for everyone, even the horrible nabz.
capt. beefsteak 95 Posted June 15, 2015 It is definitely playable... I had a moment though...
