Today i have installed an SSD into my desktop, i put the DayZ folder from the steamapps into my SSD folder etc, but there seems to be no difference in FPS?

SSD won't help FPS at all.

it just helps speed up loading's or load textures more quickly, it won't help FPS in anyway you imagine it :)

SSD improved my framerate greatly.

 

You need delete DayZ but save your config file first.

 

Go into steam and make a new folder as destination for steam games on the SSD.

 

Start the download and instruct steam to send it to the new folder.

 

Profit.
