Luftpancake 94 Posted May 30, 2015 (edited) Hey survivors! Sorry for the practical "double post" but i screwed up writing my last one due to being extremely tired after coming back from a very long day of construction. Since i can't delete the post i was kind of forced to make a new one due to the votes already being cast on the old one. I believe that if we find a press vest (This is in future updates) we should be able to spray paint it (if possible) or maybe even dye it (some how) in the new barrel with dye materials. Some nice people on the other topic (Thanks guys!) refreshed my memory on why the press vest was dark blue to light blue. So, it would be unpractical for it to come in black. Concluding i thought that maybe we could be able to dye it or paint it if possible. If this is possible, that would be awesome! Please, do comment your ideas! I love to hear them.  Edited May 30, 2015 by BillNyeTheRussianSpy
stielhandgranate 480 Posted May 30, 2015 I don't see why not. As long as the pouch pockets can't be altered as they appear to be sewn into the vest. I have seen threads on firearms forums about dying ACU vests and other accessories that are in less than desirable patterns. Could be something we use the barrel for.
IkaikaKekai 1957 Posted May 30, 2015 Well dying and coloring is already planed (in fact that was one of the purposes of adding the barrel), it wouldn't be a stretch to think we can dye/paint the Press Vest, since we can already respray a UN helmet. My question is, would dying/boiling a bulletproof/stabproof vest compromise it or something?
