Cannot Start Dayz: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file"

I keep getting the following error every time I start DayZ:
"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

 

I have tried different combinations of running as admin, deleting files then verifying, reinstalling various things such as directx and VCRedist, disabling antivirus etc. Nothing is working.

got the exact same problem . nothing works , its worked fine a couple days ago then suddenly 1 day i couldnt launch it , and this is getting me reaaally pissed off ..

The files are in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2013\

 

vcredist_x64.exe & vcredist_x86.exe

 

Run them both and then give it a try, I believe it restores permissions to a borked .dll

FIXED  IT ! Seems that the Program Razer Synapse 2.0 were blocking the permisson , if u got it just close the application and it should work allright !
