azurewinter 0 Posted May 16, 2015 Hey there, Since DayZ Commander no longer works, I've been unable to play the mod at all. I tried using DayZ Launcher, but it is unable to detect my ARMA II games.I use ARMA II CO that I purchased from GOG. In my Launcher settings, its set to find the install paths in my main arma folder
kichilron 8550 Posted May 16, 2015 No good using a Non-Steam-Version to play the online-version. Since GameSpy shut down well over a year ago it needs to run on Steam. You should be able to just activate it through Steam with the CD-Key provided. Try that and install it through Steam, then try again. Not having the game on Steam results in an outdated version, which is the reason why you don't see any servers.
azurewinter 0 Posted May 17, 2015 Oh I can see servers.I just can't log into any because because the Launcher says it cannot finda ARMA II. Well, the whole reason I bought ARMA II outside of steam was so I didn't have it clogging up my library.
kichilron 8550 Posted May 17, 2015 Well, the whole reason I bought ARMA II outside of steam was so I didn't have it clogging up my library. Your game specifically can't find the servers, some outside launcher can. This doesn't mean that it can even connect to the servers, as you said yourself: the Launcher says it cannot finda ARMA II. Just add it on Steam if you've paid for it already anyway.
