Stuck on "Waiting for character to create"

Hey today i want do join servers but every time i stuck on the "Waiting for character to create"-screen. Whats the problem? Yesterday i was on Debug-Fields and now nothing works anymore!?

If i have a look in the server list, there are a lot of empty servers or servers with just a few players. so i think a lot of people have problems with connections? at this time, normaly, all good servers are full.

apparently shit got DDOS'd and now we are stuck...

I'm guessng the HIVE server is a POS :\
