baz (DayZ) 19 Posted August 4, 2012 This is similar to how my friend and I play as well except we only carry hatchets when out in the open, and we use signal fires to get attention. Bottlerocket 205 Posted August 4, 2012 I've considered only carrying a hatchet, if only appear less of a target to the hostiles I occasionally come across.But at the end of the day I've decided that carrying a weapon is best in case I get caught up in a scenario like 3.3 (in first post).
