Loot is based on .54?

Recommended Posts

the loot and ammo in DayZ seems just as rare as .55. I've had very little luck in finding ammo and weapons. Food, I can find. But even food is no where near the level of frequency as in .54. Sometimes I find enough food to survive. And sometimes I die of starvation or by zombie.

Loot system is a hybrid of two broken systems. Different servers seem to have different levels of loot due to persistence. Check back after .56 hits and see how it is then.

Hey mate, first of all, they disabled C.L.E (Central Loot Economy) which is the new system for loots because it has bugs that made the game unplayable and now the legacy system is working on stable.

but the thing is they fixed most of the bugs with persistence system, so all of the servers are running persistence and non-persistence doesn't exist anymore. so basically it is the old system with persistence on and old system has alot of bugs that one of those is what you mentioned. some servers do have more loots than others and some are almost empty (the cause is persitence + old system bugs)

hopefully you get the point :D

So, what randomspawn said is basically the case. Hopefully, .56 will remedy the loot, etc.
