Couple of questions regarding the mod

1. When a player is killed, how long does the body stay for

2. When you hear flies but see no body, does that mean the body is gone, or is it a glitch and you can't see it?

3. How far do you have to be from e.g. Deer Stand to spawn zombies?

4. WTF Does General Channel do

5. Where does the loot spawn on heli crash sites? On the heli? Around it?

6. How does the loot in buildings spawn? Does it despawn when you log in?

Knowing these things will help me out so much, especially with figuring out how long ago a person has been in the area I'm about to move into.

Thanks for the reply, but what i meant by point 3 is just generally, how far away do you have to be from a building in order to spawn zombies.

And also, no not loot farming, its just that when i log out inside the apartments and then log in the next day and see no loot, does that mean someone looted the building or did i despawn it? Just tells me if anyone's around

it means you despawned it

the distance seems to be around 200-300m on average but can also appear pretty random; things spawned by another player nearby will also not be despawned by you loading in nearby

You don't "de-spawn" loot by logging in. I'm sick of hearing people say this; I lived in a house on the coast for a week once, and I logged in to loot in my home all the time, sometimes even right under my feet.

What you in fact do is fail to spawn any additional loot on spawn, so if nobody has triggered loot to spawn there (or the person who did looted it dry), there will be nothing there. If loot de-spawned on join, people wouldn't be repeatedly hopping the NWAF Barracks, would they?

see you say that, but i have more than once been inside of (for example) a store with spawns, reconnected for whatever reason, and the spawns became empty
