Huge ping and desync

Recommended Posts

I have a msi ghost gs60 pro. These are the specs:

http://www.msi.com/product/nb/GS60-2PE-Ghost-Pro.html#hero-specification

after a speed test these are the results:

ping: 22ms

Download speed: 16 mbps

upload speed: 2 mbps

I usually play on very high graphic settings and have never had and problems with lag, until recently. in the server screen i will have a low ping, but immediately upon joining a server my ping can spike to above 1000, even above 2000 sometimes. Almost immediately my character will begin to slingshot around and teleporting to previous locations. The "no messages received" message comes up until i finally get kicked. After this happens I often cannot find servers on the server list any more, even after raising the ping on the filter very high. My computer has high specs, being all around built for gaming. I'm confused as to what is causing this, as it has only happened lately and before dayz ran very smoothly on high graphics. Any help is appreciated, because as of now the game is almost unplayable for me.

EDIT: I've just had a few succesfull logins regarding ping and desync. Ping was less than 50 at all times and desync was 0, but i still lose connection and receive the disconnected from battleye message.

Ping is not connected to your graphical settings or framerate in any way.

Make sure you're searching for servers that actually show up with a low ping in your server-Browser.

And - considering you're on a laptop - even though I shouldn't have to say this:

If you're playing on a wireless connection, don't...
