Hello, i have an problem with graphic settings in DayZ. Is this graphic(GTX 970) optimalized for Alpha? Cause i cant set setting to max without lagging. Thank you for response.

Optimisation has been really good the last couple of patches. It's running really smoothly for me overall. Just make sure to not make the mistake of turning down your graphicssettings to gain more performance, as that will not always result in what you're trying to achieve..

Ah, that was fast response :) Can you show me your graphic settings with everything? I mean Steam settings and cfg.? :)

i have that exact same card, noreal issues at all. I run the nividea optimized settings plus clouds high and shadows high. everything else I believe is very high. this games fps are not stable. I average 50-60 out of towns and 25-35 in towns. hope this helped

It is not advised to edit the .cfg if you don't know what you're doing. Simply copy / pasting someone else's .cfg will not work in most cases.

 

Follow the guides and test a bit yourself. I am supersampling my game at 200% resolution and still have acceptable FPS. Try that for a change.
