Low Shadow and Texture Loading Distance

Recommended Posts

So I was playing DayZ Overpoch after a long break and I saw something extremely weird.

The shadows had a really low rendering distance and the textures/models only loaded properly when my camera was almost glitching inside them.

I took some screenshots so you guys can see it.

These are from my character. The second ones shows how, even if my camera is really close to my character, it still doesn't load properly.

I'm not even going to mention the ground.

This one also shows how no matter how close I am to the object, its textures will not load.

My settings and proof that I do actually have ARMA II and ARMA II OA.

Might be best to put this on the overpoch forums. We have nothing to do with overpoch

I understand, but this also happened some time ago while playing the vanilla DayZ Mod. It fixed itself somehow but now it's not going away.

If this is an issue in my end or this has little to do with you guys, I'll do as you said and go on their forums.
