Prison Island, is it worth it?

Since the new 0.55 update, ive been wondering. 

 

If loot can quite literally spawn ANYWHERES, is there any major point to travelling over to prison island? Seeing as you can find the same gear there that you can find anywheres....opinions?

If you have time and waterproof clothing, go there. Its a nice place.

good luck getting warm and dry after the swim now that you can't make fire. also don't climb the guard towers, you sometimes fall off mid-way when climbing down and die.

I actually managed to make a fire on two different servers today. Overall things seemed better today, there was loot and food.
