Draco122 411 Posted April 4, 2015 What should occur is that while yes you could make a fishing rod from different materials other than just the ashwood stick, it should mean that the item in this case a fishing rod should break more easily. So if I combine some rope with a wooden stick to make an Improvised Fishing Rod that should break much quicker than what a version made with the Ashwood stick. The same should also be applied to the Bow, in that different materials means it has different strengths (from overall "power" to durability) 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
