DAYZ Will Not Launch! -Help Me

Recommended Posts

So I Played Dayz Last Night And It Worked Fine, Today I Try And Start It Up And All Of A Sudden I'm Getting A Message That States

"C:\Program Files\Steamapps\Common\DayZ\DayZ.exe"

The Application Has Failed To Start Because Its Side-By-Side Configuration Is Incorrect, Please See The Application Event Log Or Use The Command-Line sxstrace.exe ToolFor More Detail.

Not Sure What Caused It To Have This Problem. Other Games Start/Launch Without A Problem.

Thanks In Advance For Those Who Try And Help Me Out. Cheers

Not with Dayz, but I had this issue with another program. Had to uninstall all M$ Visual C++ and redownload/install to fix the problem.

Good luck!

you are going to have to do it. You can uninstall from "programs and features"/"add and remove programs" get them back through windows update.
