It makes no sense to not be able to layer clothing... if we are going to see more cold/heat response from our characters I see this as a must have in managing this aspect of the game!!

Patience... this is being worked on, but it's not a priority. Right now clothing seems to act as if you are able to layer, so actually adding layers would mostly be cosmetic, I'd say.
