Just being curious but i would like to know if the devs have any ideas on making new maps after full release or are they just sticking with Chernarus or just letting modders put in new maps?

On a side note, besides Chernarus what map would you guys most like to play on? I would love to play the standalone Panthera or Nalmalsk and especially any brand new map people come up with.

Chernarus is like a 2nd home, I think playing Dayz on a different map would feel right for me

Once the game is opened up to modding you will see maps appear. I believe Hicks showed off Namalsk in a recent dev blog as well.

Mods will bring forth tons of maps.

 

Really wish they would have opted for a procedurally created map like Rust and minecraft uses.

 

This way all of the meta gaming things are completely removed and things like range estimation without external apps are possible.
