Last nights escapades

So last night I'm on a server with about 5 other folks on it. No biggie. Stay down, head through the military base to north side. 

 

shots fired! I duck inside the barracks and close the door behind me, along with heading into the bathroom closing THAT door and take out my shotgun as I peek out the window to see a guy running across the airfield. 

 

So here I am, kneeling in the bathroom so I cant get shot with my shotgun pointed at the door WAITING for it to open. Pulse pounding. I've been alive like, 6 hours on multiple servers! I do NOT want to die! 

 

Dude opens the door, BANG! My shot misses him by inches! Ugh! So I shout some commands about him needing to put his weapon away or I'll blow him away, and how I heard shots and ask if he was shooting at me.

 

He says he was shooting zombies, which we all know is dangerous, but w/e. He sounded honest. Puts his weapon away. I come out weapon drawn but down and put out some food for him to snack on, which covering the door incase he has friends. 

 

We chat a bit, I apologize for almost blowing his head out ("Sorry I missed your head when I shot at you") (lol), he tells me he has a truck nearby that I can have because he's gonna log. I offer him my melee weapon so he can kill a bit quieter and we go off to the tent area where I ditch the shotty for an SKS and a mag along with him tossing me 2 boxes of ammo for it, plus a mag for my handgun. 

 

All said and done, I made a new friend right after I almost killed him, got a new gun, a mag for my handgun, plus had a sweet new ride for 30 more minutes while I was still playing. 

 

It isnt perfect, but damn it's fun!

Which base were you at? Pavlovo? Vybor?

 

I've got into more than one firefight with people who I thought were shooting at me, but in hindsight were shooting at zombies; just as I've shot at players mistaking them for Zs. The tricky thing is coming back from it so that no one dies...

The one near Vybor. This is only my third life in game (I think?) so not really certain of the area. Was near Vybor however according to the online maps.
