zycorge 0 Posted March 27, 2015 (edited) I just bought DayZ, and when I started the game, I was prompted to accept the Battle Eye agreement. I did so. However, now when I start the game, the server list is not visible. When I delete the BEService_dayz file located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye and don't accept the agreement, I am able to see the servers. When I join a server it kicks me out and wants a Battle Eye acceptance. When I accept, It installs it, and I am back to being unable to see the servers. After the secondary install of Battle Eye, the command Prompt reads: Installing BattlEye Service...Successfully installed BattlEye Service.Updating BattlEye Service <NOTE: This may take several minutes to complete>...IMPORTANT: Please launch game via Steam or command line "DayZ_BE.exe 0 2 [parameters]" from now on. What does this mean? Any help would be greatly appreciated. EDIT: It appears that I can see servers when BEService is not running, and I can't see servers when it is running. SmashT 10907 Posted March 27, 2015 From the BattlEye.com FAQ First of all, please ensure that you have no hidden malware or adware installed by scanning your system with an up-to-date anti-virus software. However, certain malware might not be detected and still interfere with the game. To fix this please reset your system's Winsock connection settings by opening a Windows command prompt as administrator (go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories, right-click on "Command Prompt" and choose "Run as administrator") and entering "netsh winsock reset" (without the quotes). Reboot your computer and check if your problem is fixed now. If it still isn't please contact us for direct help at support[at]battleye.com
