Until we get some optimizations, Intel CPUs are really the only tool for the job. I would recommend the most powerful i5 CPU available (currently the 4670 or 4670K), or if budget permits, an i7. You're going to be disappointed with the performance of anything less.
Max Planck 7174 Posted March 26, 2015 Your pc is fine, what you need is patience. DayZ is early in development and has not been optimised yet, it will run slower than you'd like on pretty much any system. There is no reason in upgrading cpu and mobo to fit a game that is still in the alpha stage. Save your moneys for later, they'll come to better use then.

If this is true than I feel very released and I will have patience. Thank you very much !

I also had my 8320 overclocked to 5.7ghz stable and DayZ still ran like shit, problem being is the main core of AMD processors is far behind intel, and I am an AMD fan boy. With that said buy an i5-4670k not the 4670, or an i7-4790k and your experience will change 10 fold. I just put the new motherboard and 4790k in literally yesterday and it changed the entire game. My setup; Core i7-4790k16gigs corsair vengeance 1866GTX 770s SLI my fps went from hovering around 60 outside of cities and 10-15fps inside of them to, 60 constant outside of cities and around 35 in them. Hope this helps man.
