Hello,

 

I recently decided to rent a DayZ public server @ GameServers. So far everything has been great except for one thing, the loot. My friends keep telling me that I should up the loot spawns but I really have no idea how? Is it even possible? Also, How do I turn persistence off?

You can't increase loot spawns. If you want to turn persistence off, I believe you will need to submit a ticket to GS and they will do it for you.

So all the servers claiming "high loot" are false advertising?

Pretty much, well they could have persistence off and just restart more often I suppose. It's also against the server hosting rules to claim they have modified loot spawns etc.
