Hi, as the title states, I was wondering how to un-install the Day Z mod while using Steam, and if at all possible uninstalling without removing the whole game.

And I'm not uninstalling because I don't like the game, it's fun, challenging, and most importantly different. But I miss good ol' ArmA 2 with helicopter flying and strafing with A-10's.

Anyway, if possible, can I remove Day Z without having to remove the whole game?

Just disable the DayZ under Expansions in main menu or delete the folder @DayZ in ArmA2:OA directory.

Alright, thanks a ton. And as for the Beta patch, will I still be able to play regular ArmA with it or will I be limited to beta only servers or something of that sort?
