trankin 59 Posted March 22, 2015 turn your settings down especially shadows. the game isnt optimized at the moment so even if you do have a good computer the game wont run as well as it should.

trankin 59 Posted March 22, 2015 (edited) even everything on low its doesnt change anything, still unplayableDo you have a high ping or desync while playing? Do you have any background programs open while playing like recording programs or any browsers? Edited March 22, 2015 by trankin
trankin 59 Posted March 22, 2015 i know this sounds odd but another thing you could do is uninstall and reinstall the game will set up your settings for you to maximize performance. i had to do this once i had the same problem as you. and that helped a lot. SaveMeJebus 164 Posted March 23, 2015 Turning everything to low offloads it to the CPU from GPU and makes it run even worse (dayz is a cpu hog). Everything that you can't turn off fully set to normal or high, make sure scaling is 100% and AA is off. With those specs the game should be more than playable, framerates may dip into the 20s but its not a slideshow.
Jfiles 439 Posted March 23, 2015 (edited) I already did thatHave you gone into you config files and edited GPU max detected frames ahead blah blah? EDIT: I run an FX-8350 and this game still runs like shit XD Edited March 23, 2015 by Jfiles
