3RD Party Fan Made Texture Packs instead of DLC

I was wondering since in many games you frequently see custom high resolution texture mods. i am curious to know if anyone has made one for Dayz that replaces the DLC model textures with non copyrighted fan made textures eliminating the need for the DLC

You could do it, but you would either have to have it builtin to your mod and host it yourself or add that to your server manually and have everyone that wants to join download that as well.

 

It has been done with all the other mods out there (overwatch comes to mind).

Get Arma II: British Armed Forces, ARMA II: Private Military Company And ARMA II: Army Of The Czech Republic The graphics are some much better I don't know if there are any one which wont kick you out of the game for having a different files
