Character options

Hi is anyone missing the drop down box options to change their character type?

 

I'm sure you al know the boxes i mean where you can change the gender , clothing , skintone etc of what your fresh spawn will be the next time you end up at the coast with a torch and a battery.

 

All my options are missing, i did add some commands recently in the launch options in steam, and it started then ( the skipintro , nosplash )  ones but would like to know if anyone has the same problem and what they did to resolve it, 

 

I know that if i erased all those added launch options the dropdown boxes might return, but wanted to know if there's another method that somone found worked.

It's the -skipintro that breaks it, remove that one and you're all good.

thanks for the reply, i've erased the -skipintro -nopause and -nosplash commands but it hasn't brought back the dropdowns, the Bohemia logo screen is back though

Have you made any other edits i.e. in your .Cfg or the like?

just go ahead and delete the whole folder C:\Users\Franzuu\Documents\DayZ
