Before you release the zombie hoards

Fix the hot key menu so that I get my axe out without getting nailed.

The buttons seem unresponsive, my character has to stand still to select a new weapon and then half the time puts it away again :(

In the meantime Mr zed ruins my clothes!!

Anyone else think the hotkey menu is very very buggy?

IIRC, they are doing an overhaul for the ui. It's in the works.

They should not wait for anything before releasing the zombie hordes. They need testing and that is what we are here for.

I do agree with you that the current ui is very clunky, but try not to use the hotbar and instead use the inventory. It works for me.

Just drag the item you want to use into your hands slot and you'll be fine!

Tip: Quickly press TAB and then the assigned button for the weapon/item while in the inventory. Seems to work and you don't have to drag and drop.

Before they add the horde they should make zombies stop going through walls, at least make them break doors to get in or something. I can see myself already,  inside a building looting and having 20 zombies fly through the wall and kill me lol

and they just run through doors and walls.  They hit you from outside of buildings and even from 100m away.  They see and chase you from hundreds of meters and aggro you, even if you're in a building.  They are so broken right now, it's totally pointless to add anything to them at this point.  It would make the game nearly unplayable and completely untestable.

The ui needs work, but why wait to push the hordes? The alpha is to test stuff, so they're testing hoards- the ui isn't updated yet so its not out.

If they fixed stuff that's not too important before releasing major features, then wed have perfect nonsense items and broken major things
