Heard a truck approaching, so I figured I'd try and get a ride from him.

 

 

He stops and asks if I need a ride.

 

 

And he drives me to the nearest town.

 

 

 

Not everyone in this game is a douchebag trying to murder everyone they see. Had I shot him and stolen his truck, this adventure wouldn't have been very eventful at all.

20 minutes later. I'm headed back from where the guy dropped me off.  I hear another truck.

 

 

and another.

 

 

...and another.

 

 

These guys didn't stop for me, but now I learned that Zelenogorsk is a hitchhikers wet dream.

I'm sure you'll get more rides if you put those guns away, they make you look a little bit like, you know, an armed psychopath.
