The story of a man in cherno

Hello people of the dayZ community I've been playing this game for a while and thought i would share a rather sad thing i have done. however I did slightly enjoy it :(

Ok well I spawned in Cherno after i had died in starysober getting sniped by some guy with an M107, so i hit the re-spawn button like most other people do and i spawned in Cherno. Cherno that place were no one is sure who is friendly until someone gets shot for there bandages and painkillers. I have never been to Cherno before this however I heard many stories about the how easy it is to die. were I spawned I could see a church so that was the first thing I headed to, unfortunately I found it wire fenced off and i couldn't get into it, though the DayZ god's smiled at me because i had found a hatchet in the middle of the road next to the church.

Quickly given up on the church because i couldn't get over the wire fencing I see a pub now i was looking for food and water as I didn't have anything and I had a weapon so i felt pretty good about defending myself against any players or zeds that may be inside.

I make my way through the back entrance of the pub and quickly searched the bottom floor of the pub but as I'm about to head up the stairs I here someone shooting a M1911 pistol. I was scared I didn't want to die again and lose the hatchet, food, coke, and a map I had just found in the bottom of the pub.

So i risked it i slowly climbed the stairs with him constantly shooting a zombie or possibly a player outside I'm not sure which. as I'm about to make my way around the corner I see him full pelt sprinting in my direction I jumped a mile in the air because it scared the S**T out of me however I managed to cut off his leg and he was now bleeding and unconscious on the floor I then didn't know what to do.

I quickly searched his bag while i was thinking about what to do he had nothing inside of it, it was a standard starting bag with nothing inside. I then realise he is about to wake up quickly without realising it I then swung my axe again decapitating him quickly hearing the fly's humming around his body. The fly's disturbed me, as the sound of them came through my headset so quickly I hadn't even realised what I had done until it was too late. Quickly searched his body after the quick brain fart that had happened I took the M1911 and found 1 MAG with it, he had nothing else worth while so I buried his body with respect and decided to loot the general store to find matches and a hunting knife before I headed to the wilderness.

As i make my way towards the general store I see another survivor who just ran into the store he was unarmed and look like a completely fresh player however i knew that since he was already in there he would take any loot that was there. So what I did was wait for him to come out the back door. I waited patiently and quietly listening for his foot steps trying to figure out which door he would come out of. After what felt like hours he made his way out to the front door, I quickly made my way there myself hoping I would get there in time. "I made it" I exclaimed just as soon as his leg stepped out the door I cut it off making sure he wouldn't be able to run. before decapitating him like the last guy while hearing him plead for his life I said thanks for all the stuff and may your soul rest in peace.

I then drove the axe clean through his neck unlike the other guy which I was in a state of panic and left his head slightly attached to his body.

His head then slowly rolled down the steps of the general store, I had just murdered two people in the space of 10-15 minutes. I Have never done such a unmerciful thing before this, but after the first guy I killed in a state of panic. I had began to feel my blood-lust rise and hunger for more which lead me to stalk the guy in the general store instead of trying to team up with him.

My reward was nothing off of the second body however my need for blood continues to hunger, i fear i have gone to the dark side and may never come back to the light. I surge of excitement you get when your target dies, the sinister smile that appears across your face when your victim has succumbed to darkest.

DayZ this is my story, my life, my experience in Cherno. I can defiantly say I will enjoy continuing to kill people from now on whoever and whenever they cross my sight.

Hope you enjoyed my very simple story/experience of Cherno I am still a newish player and just had a lot of fun writing this. hopefully people will enjoy it yes I do realise there may be spelling and grammar mistakes I kind of just did this without a second thought and it's also 4 am spent all day/night playing DayZ please forgive me. Also the last part was just to add to the story i usually am a friendly person but when I was in Cherno I heard too many stories of people getting back stabbed there so I decided I would just kill anyone I saw in Cherno.

This was the first time I have written/done something like this so please leave feedback would be appreciated whever or not I should continue writing similar stories or on what I can improve on.

It was interesting, but you're going to get a lot of hate from the internet if you don't watch everything you type.

lmao thanks :P even though the 2 kills were similar and there are a lot of stories similar to this with people hatcheting them or "hatchet bandits" I thought it'd be interesting to share :D
