how can you tell your frames per second as i dont know lol......... dayz seems to run fine for me and smooth as a babys bum.........

you can turn on the fps counter in the steam app. go to settings, select "in-game" and enable the counter. I have NVidia for gfx so I use the shadowplay counter.

thx m8, get 35-45 in balota, longer i was playing the more it went up. was just a little test will try later

that's some pretty good fps from where I'm sitting. I average about 25-30 in the open and it dips down in town to around 10-15. this last patch seemed to improve that a bit however. in all fairness I do tend to run fairly high settings for my setup - I like it to look pretty.

I've got mines set to Normal, a couple of effects turned on and a couple others turned off. I hit anything between 40-60fps in the open and 15-25 in towns and everything looks fine for me. I know if I reduce my Rendering Resolution from 200% I will gain a good boost but then everything looks pretty shitty. My frames are no game breaker anyway, I'm rarely in towns.
