screen acting weird

Hi, I was just playing and it was about 18:00 on the server. I logged in and everything was find and all of the sudden the screen got so dark I couldn't see anything, then it went back to normal, and it went really dark again, and it kept happening, I logged out and logged back on and it's still doing the darkness thing. My gamma and brightness is all the way up. Anyone know what's going on?

I was asking for a serious answer, thanks. I noticed it's bright inside buildings but crazy dark outside, and from inside the houses outside looks bright.

I have noticed a similar condition and it was related to clouds and shadows.
