Purchasing 2 Copies of Dayz Standalone on the same Computer?!

Hey there! I'm attempting to purchase 2 copies of dayz standalone in order to have 2 characters with different loot. I have seen many popular dayz streamers and youtubers do this so I am assuming that it is aloud. Could someone be kind enough to guide me through the process of doing this? I have already made a new email and steam account for the purchase. Thanks!

All you have to do is make a second steam account and just rebuy dayz sa. Thats it.

Not sure why you would do that when you can have multiple characters already.  The 1PP only Hive is separate from the 1/3PP Hive, not to mention all the private hives.  Unless you wanted two on the exact same hive.  I'm not one for keeping tab on the Youtubers so don't really know of this 2 account practice.

@jmbftw : I made a new steam account and it asks me to purchase the game but the reason I am asking this is because under arma 2, it says I can play even though Its a new steam account. I just wanted to make sure my 35$ would be well spent and not in vain. Thanks!

 

@BigMike : And what I am looking to do is have 2 character saves on the same hive. I am well aware of private, 1st, 1st/3rd hives. Thank you for your input!
