Broke both legs but no wood sticks

I've broken both legs away from anyone, and dont have any wood sticks to fix my legs. Is there any other way than just slowly dieing? Like a suicide option? I don't have any rotten food or anything to kill myself. I'm very new to the game.

If you are near/in the woods, you can find sticks by searching for them w/o anything in your hand using you mouse wheel. I don't know if you can do it prone, however.

You can stand up and crouch with broken legs, just can't walk.

If you have a machete or axe just slither over to a bush, crouch and chop. Sticks be yours.

Thanks for the heads up. I ended up figuring Id die from exposure, so I went to watch some tv and ate lunch. As I came back I see a dude with a crow bar attacking me... I beg for him to kill me since he looked like a fresh spawn. A zombie that followed him did me in... Dude got a nice loot from my body I bet.
