DeSyncD 0 Posted February 13, 2015 Hi guys I used to play Day Z mod via Day Z commander just fine using the exact same hardware without any problems. I decided to get back into things again as SA doesn't do it for me as base building etc is a big part of the game for me. I was all excited double clicked on Day Z commander and bang my mouse just froze and closing DZ commander wouldnt unfreeze it. The only thing that would is shutting down and starting back up. If you CTRL + ALT + DEL it will work on that screen but say you choose task manager it then freezes up straight away. I have tried everything deleting cache, uninstalling, reinstalling commander etc and the worst thing is I can play the vanilla mod via steam just fine. Is there anyone else who has had this issue or even just knows a fix because I am pulling my hair out here?
kichilron 8550 Posted February 13, 2015 Simple solution: don't use any of them, as (especially DayZCommander) is obsolete. The only thing needed for ARMA 2: DayZ Mod is Steam, it is available through that and you get updates through it automatically, can launch the Mod directly from Steam, etc.

kichilron 8550 Posted February 13, 2015 We don't support Epoch here, as we're not affiliated with them. We offer our mod on Steam, what Epoch does is none of our business. Try their Forum.
DeSyncD 0 Posted February 25, 2015 SOLVED - GAME BOOSTER IS THE CAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM. I used to like the function to close un needed processes without doing it by hand in task manager but it seems this program has terrible effects on multiple programs including those using .net 4+ frameworks. I know the forum doesn't support epoch but this may help someone in the future so thought this update was the right thing to do.
