Reloading and magazines

Recommended Posts

On many of the guns with internal magazines it is possible to reload without completely emptying the mag. This should be added to the game, simply drag more bullet onto the partially loaded gun, and any extra ones will go back to the inventory slot they were in. You could have a choice between loading individual rounds, or clips (if the entire magazine is empty). Also guns should sometimes spawn partially loaded, or with an empty or partially loaded mag nearby. Would be more realistic. Its ridiculous trying to find magazines, especially for military weapons. What type of military base has 2 assault rifles, and no empty magazines.

They will add the ability to top off internal magazines later in development. Don't worry.

But to be fair, everything that you have posted has been discussed in the past at great length. If every assault rifle had a magazine in it loaded up with thirty bullets, that would be way too much firepower to get your hands on at one time. Finding an automatic assault rifle isn't supposed to be easy or quick. It's not supposed to happen often.

The more rare that high powered weaponry is and the difficulty it takes to acquire it...the more value you place on your character's life

The thing is, I've passed up extremely rare weapons just because I know I'll never find the mag for it. Is the occasional chance of spawning with an empty mag that game breaking?
