laptop controls.

Hi guys, been trying to figure something out but really struggling. Im playing on my laptop using the touch pad and no mouse. the thing is when you tap the touch pad it raises the gun and tap it again it fires the thing.  it has a habit of going off by mistake when your running about which is bad in high populated areas. anyway of turning it off from doing it.I was in the control settings but cant work it out.

When you click your mouse it raises your gun, so it still counts as whatever you have bound to "shoot," which would be the left mouse button. I would strongly recommend getting a mouse for this game, I don't think I'd be able to play without it. There are many basic ones out there for >$10, but if you're serious about this game/gaming in general then you might want to invest more. Good luck!

Isn't there a setting to turn off the tap feature on the touchpad? I've only dealt with 2 laptops in my life (reformatting for friends) but I've had to turn that off because it was annoying me to no end. Could be a brand specific thing as both laptops were Toshiba.
