Medical help in exchange for items?

I have been browsing the forums and saw two threads, Med Help and Trading Post. However, I have unsuccessfully tried to sign up as a medic, so now I am here.

 

Does anyone need medical assistance in the public hive that would want to trade an item for assistance? If you are close to death, unconscious, or otherwise unable to continue the game without receiving medical attention, I can come find you and give you treatment.

 

Respond to the thread if this is a good or bad idea, and why. If you need help, also respond!

Good idea buddy. Although be carefull not to get lured in by bandits.

Seems good in theory, but I don't want to be tied down to certain play times, and I tend not to have a schedule. I would like it to be more of a case-by-case, and of course I would take backup to make sure I am not destroyed.

 

I would likely leave my non-medical belongings w/ a partner, and get a drybag full of med stuff to go out. That way if I die I don't lose 100% of my progress.

Basically you need only 1 of each med item to cure any condition

lol I just drank a whole jerrycan full of gas, so I may very well need help soon.

 

(had it in my hands, looked at a canteen and selected 'drink all'.  I MEANT the canteen.)
