brazorf 46 Posted February 10, 2015 I accidentally went to a sequence of steps that caused a duplicate item (couldn't replicate more than once though). I've read not to open topics, but to report on the tracker instead. Is this the right procedure? Make the tracker become a tutorial for cheaters?
Conrad_The_Comrade 577 Posted February 10, 2015 Pretty sure when you report a bug on the tracker, theirs an option to have it private, as to not disclose this stuff to cheaters. Just look throughout the page when you fill it out.

Bororm 1156 Posted February 10, 2015 Regardless, people are going to figure it out so reporting it is better than not even if it didn't have the option.

Death By Crowbar 1213 Posted February 11, 2015 You can also report to one of the mods such as boneboys who can assist further. If it's known it may be a waste of effort to file a duplicate in the feedback tracker (instead you can vote it up in the feedback tracker). My experience is even if it's a duplicate they don't mind, they link them together, if it's a hack/duplicate type they'll hide it and make it private, and life moves on. So my advice is both log it and also report to one of the mods as suggested.
SMoss 2101 Posted February 11, 2015 We'll take care of the surrounding noise in case it's a duplicate report; please feel free to file that bug on the Feedback Tracker :)
BeaverProductions 441 Posted February 11, 2015 I was travelling on the south coast and my game started to spaz out just as a zombie spotted me. Almost complete lockup except when the zombie was hitting me I could hear the audio and got 1 FPS for 1 second then back to completely locked up. I had to alt+tab and manually and shut down DayZ and assumed I would be dead when I came back. Once I logged back in, I was alive, but my dead body was also a few feet away from me. I am now the proud owner of 16 mosin bullets rather than 8 since i unwittingly duped my gear :) That's all I had worth collecting on my dead body. Should I be banned for accidental duping??
