You will need a cooking pot to cook the meat. A furnace will cook it faster than a normal fire.

Can anyone help me ?  I just can't figure out the oven :(   Every time i craft a stone oven , i place meat in it and it doesen't start turning a red cooking color.  In like 5-10 seconds it just gets ruined looking like regular raw meat.

 

Do i have to add or subtract an amount of wood ?

Do i need to add a pot to the oven to cook ?

 

Please help me not burn my dinner :(   I want to Love this oven but it's making me really Hate it !

Yes the pot will need to pulled out of the fire, add the meat to the pot. Once that has been done add the pot back to the fire. Keep it on inspect and watch the meat. It cooks quickly.
