Can't play start up DayZ

When I try to play DayZ Standalone a message shows up saying "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file.  You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item".  I have no clue on what to do.  *note I was able to play before the .53 patch

I had the same problem after the patch. Go to steam, games, right click DayZ, properties and validate your game files. Somehow it fixed it for me. Also, if you have a geforce graphics card go to GeForce experience and optimize your game. Hope it helps
